Mr Ntuli is founder and Chairman of Thelo Group (Thelo), an independent investment company with interests in the aviation, infrastructure and resources sectors.
Mr Ntuli is also Chairman of:
· Thelo.Continuum: a Thelo controlled investment joint venture focused on developing, operating and investing in capacity creating infrastructure projects in the sub-Saharan region of Africa. The Thelo.Continuum team has extensive speciality experience and expertise in the transportation (ports, rail and rolling stock) and energy sectors.
· AfriRosco: a new business controlled by Thelo and offering rolling stock lease finance to rail utilities, and freighters initially in Southern Africa.
· the National Empowerment Fund (NEF): a multi billion Rand Development Finance Agency established by the government of the Republic of South Africa to promote and drive Black Economic Empowerment (BEE) and transformation of the South African economy.
Mr Ntuli is also Deputy Chairman of Comair Limited, a company listed on the JSE Securities Exchange with investments in the Aviation and Travel sectors and operates airlines such as British Airways and Kulula.
Mr Ntuli is a member of the Honorary International Investor Council (HIIC) for the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. The HIIC is a body of leading international business-persons that advises the President and members of the Federal Government on how it might take action to encourage further investment in the country.
Mr Ntuli is a member on the board of the African Export-Import Bank (AFRIEXIMBANK). Headquartered in Cairo, Egypt, the Bank was established by African Governments, African private and institutional investors as well as non-African financial institutions and private investors for purposes of financing, promoting and expanding intra-African and extra-African trade. AFRIEXIMBANK has the status of an international multilateral organisation.
Preceding his role at Thelo, Mr Ntuli founded Andisa Capital, in partnership with one of Africa’s largest banks, Andisa is an independent and diversified financial services group with interests in private equity, stock-broking, capital markets, corporate finance and treasury solutions, for which he was also the Chief Executive.
Mr Ntuli is former President of the Johannesburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry and holds a LLB from Edinburgh University.
